ABOUT THE SERVICE
Suvidha and MTNL have launched a new service for Utility Bill Payments via mobile phones. Suvidha enables mobile subscribers to view and pay their MTNL bills using SMS anytime from anywhere, through their credit cards. In the first phase, this service will be available in Delhi and shall be shortly available in Mumbai too.

The biggest plus of this service lies in the ease and simplicity of making the payments using SMS and any mobile phone, thereby making it a very convenient. With a one time FREE and paperless registration, mobile subscribers need not wait to pay their MTNL bills as they can receive the same on SMS. On receiving the bill details, subscriber can make payments using their Visa or MasterCard which can be linked with their registration account. Further, the bill information shall be presented as reminder SMS from the next month onwards as per the billing cycle of the connection.

Mobile subscribers need to send SMS to 56545 or 9868156545 All messages will be charged @ Re. 1 only with no other charges for bill payments.
